YONKERS' 2015 LIVE SEASON WINDING DOWNYONKERS' 2015 LIVE SEASON WINDING DOWN BY FRANK DRUCKER, Publicity Director, Empire City @ Yonkers Raceway YONKERS, NY, Wednesday, December 2, 2015-Yonkers Raceway is indeed "running out of racetrack" for its 2015 season, with just seven live programs remaining (five evenings, one afternoon, one late morning). --Friday, Dec. 4, Saturday, Dec. 5, Monday, Dec. 7, Friday, Dec. 11, Sat, Dec. 12 (first posts @ 7:10 PM) --Tuesday, Dec. 8 (first post @ 1 PM). --Sunday, Dec. 13 (final program of 2015, first post @ 11:15 AM). Note that this Sunday (Dec. 6) was/is a scheduled dark day. The proposed 2016, 238-program season is set to begin Thursday, Jan. 7, pending approval of the New York State Gaming Commission.
