RACE 1 - (2) BETTOR CAT drops in for a tag in his 3rd try for new connections and should find this spot
far more to his liking - didn't really take much $$ in his first 2 local appearances, but expect him to be
heavily supported tonight. (1) AMERICAN SONIC is technically moving up in class but his recent PA
efforts are much sharper than what we've been seeing from the locals - should be a good fit, with a solid
chance to land somewhere on the ticket from this spot. (3) AMERICAN NITRO can win in this class when
on his best game, but he definitely lacks consistency - hard to leave him off the ticket against these, though.
(5) ALLGONOWHOA brings a 3 race winning streak into this but he's also exiting a couple of very high %
barns - could be a bit risky (at a short price) racing for new connections tonight. (4) ENERGYZONE
HANOVER generally isn't a threat to win, but he does hang in there most of the time - throw him in for 3rd
(8) ART HISTORY won off the claim on 7/21, was 3rd in his next but been tailing ever since - Post 8 won't
help him get back on track! (6) BLUEBERRY HEAVEN and (7) ARI ALLSTAR are the outsiders.
RACE 2 - (5) MARLBANK ROAD was handled conservatively (Post 7) in his YR debut but finished with
solid pace - he has 4 wins this year (in Canada), and is probably a very good fit with these...expect a much
more aggressive effort tonight. (4) KING SPENCER was caught at the back of the pack in his last couple of
starts (out of town) and had no chance - much better spot for his Yonkers return, gets Brennan on board and
could have a big say here. (3) ELS DISCO JOHNNY was a jogburger winner 3 back, then rebounded from
a dull effort with a close 2nd last week - logical player. (7) A B COLLINS sports fine recent form
(including a local win 2 back) but vs. a bit cheaper - outside draw is another concern, and he may have to
settle for a smaller piece tonight. (8) MAJOR SHOW was a solid 3rd last week and fits well here - he's also
1 for 18 and stuck with Post 8, so we'll stick with others for tonight. (1) CONFIDENCE MAN took no $$
and was no factor in his local debut, but was also off a sick scratch that night - eligible to be a bit better
now. (6) HURRIKANEKINGCARLO is 0 for 13 and draws outside - wait for an easier spot to consider. (2)
HAPPY CAMPER is racing ok upstate, but seems to be on the cheaper side.
RACE 3 - Tough race! (4) COOL BLUES MAN was in too tough vs. the 25s but he's a legit player at this
level (and was a winner 3 starts back) - this race is full off question marks, so maybe he can end up with a
live trip, and rally by late...at a decent price. (2) WESTERN REDHOT is very sharp right now and would
have been the easy choice...had he not been claimed from his last by lower-profile connections - if he's as
good this week as he HAS been, he'll be the one to beat...but he's listed at 3-1 ML and may not be quite as
sharp this time around. (3) RUTHLESS DUDE has some ugly looking recent lines but he also was a winner
in this class 5 starts back - always a chance he could blast to the top and deliver a much better effort this
week. (5) BEVANS CULLEN is pretty hard to consider on top (0 for 34 last 2 years) but he's certainly
racing well enough to merit consideration underneath. (6) BUSH MAN N is racing well right now but vs/
much lesser - seems like a stretch in for $20K. (1) TALK SHOW drops BELOW the level of the claim after
just one start and that feels like a major red flag - at 2-1 ML, he's worth taking a shot against. (7) THEREIS
APACEFORUS has been 1st/2nd in 6 of his last starts but usually vs. much easier - not sure he can be a
player from out here (vs. 20s), even in his current form. (8) UNICO LEGEND N showed nothing before
that form reversing win 3 back and nothing since - drops, but we'll still pass.
RACE 4 - (1) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN moves to a new barn for tonight and the new trainer's dad had
this horse for most of his career (suggesting that he just may know a little something about how to make
him tick) - willing to gamble that he can take these wire to wire, and provide instant dividends to his new
crew. (2) CENTURY FURY qualified well after a short layoff and may end up following the winner from
the two hole - chance to stick around a long way. (3) RETOUR AU JEU landed on a brutal trip in his first
start back off the layoff - should be tighter now, and can race much better from this easier spot. (4) ZIGGY
SKY always seems to race best when coupled with Joe B., and we saw that happen just last week - the pair
hook up again tonight, and another solid effort is expected. (6) WAR DAN DELIGHT N is just 2 for 29
over the last 2 years but remains a threat to grab smaller pieces at this bottom level. (5) SWEET TRUTH
throws a good one here and there but is far too unreliable to ever endorse with any confidence. (7) DARK
ENERGY returns from PA at a level he's usually good at, but gets no luck with the draw - wait for a better
spot. (8) SPORTS COLUMN has been away since April and lands Post 8 - pass, and watch.
RACE 5 - (1) LARRY LINCOLN N qualified super in his U.S. debut but landed a pair of no-prayer starts
after that - moves all the way inside, and this should be go time! (6) HIS BEATS HANOVER was a PcD
winner off the barn change and then a sharp 2nd here last week to a "First Time Super Siblings" winner -
should be a major player once more. (3) NEVER EASY Z TAM might normally be a pass off a "scratched
injured" line but he debuts tonight for a barn that has suddenly come to prominence in 2021, and deserves
respect off that angle alone! (2) MAJOR MAKEOVER had some issue here 2 back but rebounded with a
sharp mile at VD - logical one to use underneath. (4) MR DUNNIGANS finished well for 4th after crashing
out in the stretch here 2 back, then raced well at Tioga after that - another with a chance to land somewhere
on the ticket. (7) KEYSTONE NOLAN is always a good fit in this NW4 class but the poor draw may make
him an outsider this week. (5) SARANAC BLUE CHIP feels like he's tailing - wait for better signs from
him. (8) NEXT BIG THING had no chance in either start since arriving from Canada and likely faces the
same fate tonight.
RACE 6 - (2) TRUFFLE DOG shipped in sharp from NJ and jogged here at 1/5 (vs. NW2) - shifted over to
Chester last week and beat a very sharp Carbine in a NW5 race - returns locally to face a NW4 field, and
the 4YO should be able to extend his winning streak to 3. (6) MOONLIGHT SHADOW has been holding
his own vs. similar at Chester, and moves to a new barn for tonight after winning his last - could be the
main threat. (1) JIM BLUE was well backed for his Hilltop debut and did not disappoint, easily disposing
of a NW2 field - should have no problem being a legit threat vs. this NW4 crew as well, especially with the
rail draw. (5) CARRYTHTORCHMAN is winless in 2021 (11 starts) but was 3rd in this class last week,
and has a chance for another small piece tonight. (3) UNCONTROLLABLE was a promising 2nd in his
local debut but disappointed in his last pair - we'll see if he can up his game a bit tonight. (4) L DEES
JACK LOPEZ upset from the pocket last start but was just "meh" in his starts before that - not quite sold
that he's this good, but we'll see! (7) BEACH BLOGER was a form reversing winner (28-1) on 8/10 but
then didn't function in his next - pass tonight from all the way out here.
RACE 7 - (4) ALLHANDSONDECK came over recently to the Dynamic Duo (along with Tenthousand
Angels) from the same barn...and BOTH have undergone extreme makeovers (especially this guy) - so
while their previous connections ponder what they were missing, we'll just keep betting on them until they
show any signs of slowing down. (5) BLACK CHEVRON N was much sharper than his last line looks,
when handled conservatively off a sick scratch - could definitely add some value to the ticket tonight. (2)
REBELLIOUS was a powerful 2 move winner upon arrival last week for a barn that always seems to do
well when they ship in to Yonkers - moves up, but can have a big say with these as well. (7) FLYINGEVE
NBETTOR N is listed at 15-1 ML but is very sharp right now - if he can land on a live trip, he can make
some noise in here. (3) WHITE HAIR ROCKS has been sharp for some time...but since he's (somehow)
just 1 for 56 over the past 2 years, he can only be considered for a smaller piece. (1) TELLITSABB
disappointed in NW7500 last week and now is forced to double jump in class - has plenty of back class, but
have to lean to others right now. (6) INDICTABLE HANOVER seems better suited vs. a bit softer. (8)
VIRGIN STORM isn't sharp enough right now to be a threat from out here.
RACE 8 - (2) HIPPESTCATINTOWN was already racing well for his previous connections so it was no
surprise to see him make his debut for the Super Siblings a winning one - looks to make it 2 in a row, and
will be heavily favored to do so. (3) GAMBLINGTERROR routinely picks up pieces in this class, even
from tough spots - definitely one to use underneath in exotics. (1) MR KELLY doesn't have the most
exciting Canadian form but moves to a barn that frequently succeeds with these types - use underneath. (8)
DEAL THE CARDS comes into this at 5 for 5 in 2021 (after having no wins or 2nds in 7 starts last year)
but that streak will be in serious jeopardy from Post 8 - can never discount a horse on a roll like he is, but
this really feels like a tough spot for him. (6) SHINY BLACK BEAMER just missed last time after a
couple of duds - he's been somewhat unpredictable lately, so insist on a good price if including on your
tickets. (7) CAPTIVATE HANOVER raced ok from a very tough spot in last and his overall recent form is
strong - not a bad bomb for 3rd/4th. (4) LINNYCALLEDFRANKIE has been inconsistent at best lately -
needs to show up on his A Game for any chance at even a decent piece. (5) GET LIT may be overmatched.
RACE 9 - (8) HEAVENS GAIT is prone to cold streaks and total clunkers but he also seems to always
bounce back, and has managed to pick up 8 wins over the last 2 years - can probably improve position at
the start here without being used too hard and he's definitely worth a look...as long as the price offsets the
risk. (2) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A drops and gets major post relief....while already a proven commodity
against this type - good week to have him on your tickets. (5) ODDS ON DELRAY really made a HUGE
recovery after being way out of it at the start last week...and that was on the heels of a narrow loss the week
before - can be a player here, assuming no more mishaps. (1) HEAVENLY SOUND bumps up in class off a
Fhd. win but he can hold his own in this class too - doesn't win very often, but never a bad one to include
underneath from a good spot like this. (3) CAVIART STETSON had way more weaker efforts than good
ones lately but does move to a barn that has shown the ability to transform new projects pretty quickly - not
ready to hop on his bandwagon, but can understand why others might. (6) I GET THAT was "sneaky ok"
last week - moves to a new barn after being claimed, and isn't a bad bomb for the bottom of exotics. (4)
ROCKATHON was unable to replicate that winning effort from 2 back when up in class last week - minor
share only. (7) THEFREEDOMFIGHTER N draws poorly for his YR return - wait for better scenario.
RACE 10 - (2) SPRINGSTEEN took no time at all to revive his career upon joining the terrific training
tandem (albeit vs. lesser, so far) - he's feeling so good right now he's even winning on the lead...which often
tripped him up even when he was a younger, high end horse...looking for 3 in a row tonight and will be
heavily favored to get it done. (1) WARDAN EXPRESS A picked up a rare local victory last week - steps
up a notch but figures to get a good trip from this spot...and that could see him landing another good chunk
tonight. (3) KNOCKING AROUND is racing well right now, as are several of his stablemates - inside draw
makes him a live player for a piece of the exotics. (7) SNOWBALLS ROMEO raced very well vs. the 40s
in his local debut (despite a very tough trip) - would have rated him higher with a better draw, but he's still
a real threat to find a way somewhere onto this ticket. (5) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK broke 2 back then
faltered on the lead in last - he MAY be tailing a bit, but we'll get a better idea after tonight. (4) ISLANDSP
ECIALMAJOR really hasn't been bad and should appreciate the class drop - one of several with a chance at
a piece of this (depending on trip). (6) MIGHTY SANTANA N may need a bit easier to be a serious player.
(8) HUDSEN A took his last but moves up and draws Post 8.
RACE 11 - (1) LUCIANO N threw a dud off a pocket trip in last...a bit surprising considering how long
he's been holding some pretty good form - drops and draws the pole tonight so we'll find out quickly if last
week was just a blip, or if he's finally going the wrong way after that long, strong run of good efforts. (5)
IM BENICIO A is the "x factor" tonight - he immediately reversed form and went on a nice roll after being
moved to this outstanding young conditioner on 7/2, but he comes into tonight off a sick scratch from his
last - if he's 100%, he'll have a big chance to beat these....but that's a big if! (2) QUATRAIN BLUE CHIP
has been climbing the class ladder without the benefit of a recent victory, but continues to hold his own at
each higher level - tonight should be no exception. (4) MYKINDACHIP continues to underwhelm for an
otherwise sharp barn, now just 1 for 23 on the year - underneath only, especially at that 3-1 ML price. (3)
FIZZING N seems to do his best work with a bit lesser. (6) EPIC ACE could use a class drop and better
post - prefer others tonight.
RACE 12 - Tough finale: (8) BUY IN never got involved last week but did hit the wire with interest - may
just take back to last again but IF Brennan can get him in play, he may have a chance to light up the
toteboard. (1) SILAS SEELSTER isn't usually one we get excited about but he just missed 2 back, and was
pacing well late in his last - maybe can trip out and grab a rare win from this spot? (4) GENIUS MAN was
so much improved 2 back it was a surprise to see him regress so quickly last week - gets a new pilot for
tonight, and we'll see which version shows up. (3) LYONS NIGHT HAWK just missed in his last and
generally races well here at YR - good one to include in exotics. (7) MARK WITHA K blasted from Post 8
and picked up a 2nd as a result 2 back - maybe Dube will send him tonight? (6) THE WILD CARD raced
much better in his last pair, picking up 2nds - moves up and tough post tonight, so he may struggle a bit this
time around. (2) THE WALL really doesn't seem to be clicking right now. (5) WATERWAY re-qualified
after taking 6 weeks off - not sure what to expect tonight.
