RACE 1 – (7) ROCK DIAMONDS N came into his last off 4 straight (easy) wins so it was hardly a surprise to see
him win again...but the 7-1 payoff WAS pretty surprising – he goes for 6 in a row tonight and if he hits the top
without much trouble, he’ll have a solid chance to extend his streak. (2) DP REALORDEAL reverted to bad habits
and mace an early miscue last week – he’s not the most reliable horse out there, but IF things get a little testy up
front tonight, he may have a chance to pull off the upset. (6) ADAM CROCKER A is a steady player in this class
and was 2nd best to the top choice last week – if he can leave and grab another two hole trip, he’ll at least be in with a
chance in the lane. (1) MICKY GEE N hit board in his last 4 picking up one victory – yet another great draw puts
him right in the hunt again, but still seems better used underneath, rather than on top. (8) POINTOMYGRANSON
has followed up last year’s outstanding season with an excellent one in 2024 – he was on quite a roll before pulling
up with some issue on 6/4 and while his subsequent qualifier looks good, it would be asking a lot for him to be at his
best from Post 8, off a month. (3) ARDEN MESSI N steps up in class but in good form – worth considering for 3rd
or 4th. (4) THE REGULATOR fires a good one when in the right spot but this doesn’t feel like his kind of scenario.
(5) MACH N CHEESE hasn’t been sharp enough, and wasn’t any better with the barn change last week.
RACE 2 – (2) THIS IS THE PLAN grabbed a snail-like :58.1 half last week and that allowed him to sprint home in
:27.1, holding off a couple of pursuers to pick up his first local victory of the season – he’s been a good horse to play
against this year (since he’s generally overbet), but there’s a pretty good chance he can crawl on the lead and pick up
a win against these too. (1) HIGH VOLTAGE DEO was sneaky sharp in both local starts, finishing well each time –
maybe he can sit close and kick home enough to pull off the upset? (6) HUNTERS HERO has ability for sure, and
likes Yonkers (7-2-2-1) – he also draws outside after re-qualifying after a sick scratch, and MAY just take a
conservative approach this week – tough call. (4) STRENGTHFROMABOVE faltered on the lead 2 back then was
dull in his last – he’s capable of better, and needs to bring a better effort to threaten here. (5) MIDNIGHT NATION
has been a steady player but bumps up to face older horses tonight and we’ll see how hid form holds up with the
class bump. (3) PANETTONE HANOVER has missed over 3 weeks after throwing a weak effort in his last.
RACE 3 – (2) FIREARM is just 1 for 20 but he did hit board in 10 of those losses (mostly this year) – he’s been
close a number of times in much better fields than this one, and may have finally found himself a winning spot. (3)
AYR BALMORAL GB landed in an impossible spot for his YR return but paced well at the back of the pack – he
did race well here in a couple of starts earlier this year, and he could be right in the mix tonight. (4) BEGGIN FOR
BACON was on and off the bit in his local debut then lacked any real room in the stretch – he should fit well in this
field, but his 1 for 29 record (14X second!) suggests using him UNDERNEATH may be the right move. (6) DEALE
RS TURN came up 2nd best last week, beating the others by many – he has the speed to get a decent start, and could
easily outperform that 20-1 ML price. (5) STONEBRIDGE PATROL was a winner 3 back but on the lead, in a very
soft field – have to respect his connections, but he surely won’t be offering any value at that 2-1 ML price. (1) BAN
GIN picked up 3rd last week, but wasn’t any kind of threat– minor share only. (7) PINEBUSHDRAGONLIFE seems
improved since his first couple of starts here, but does figure to be hurt significantly by the draw.
RACE 4 – (1) REGGIE THE FOURTH only raced a couple of times at 2 but he quickly made his mark at 3, winning
the Weiss Final in just his 4th start of the year – since then he’s picked up NYSS wins at Stga. and VD, and just had a
sharp maintenance qualifier that saw him finish just behind the ultra-classy POINTOMYGRANSON...catches a few
strong, more experienced foes tonight, but we’ll still give him the edge. (3) SOUTHWIND CELSIUS is a nice 3YO
with a very potent late kick – if he’s close when they turn for home, he could be tough to deny – very possible. (6)
ENDOFSTORY was a little disappointing in his local debut but followed that up with a 7 hole jogburger, and a 2
nd in a hot 1:51.2 mile – deserves plenty of respect. (2) MIDNIGHT THUNDER grabbed a couple of wins here in April
and returns from a close 3rd in NJ last week – could easily land somewhere on the ticket. (4) SINBAD N is a steady
player that usually finishing well at the end...may have to settle for a small share tonight, though. (7) OHOKA LE
BRON N has ability, but is often his own worst enemy – it certainly won’t help his chances starting from all the way
outside. (5) PINE BUSH ITALIANO would be a surprise, to say the least.
RACE 5 – (2) SEMI TOUGH raced more than well enough to win his last pair but had to settle for 2nd each time –
we’ll look for him to get over the hump tonight. (1) MY ULTIMATE BYRON A has been holding his form very
nicely and picked up 3rds in his last 2 starts at this level – no reason he can’t sit a trip and grab another big chunk.
(4) BLUE LOU had been banging heads with the very tough KySS 4 year olds so it was no surprise to see him win
easily upon arrival last week, after hitting the top and enjoying things his own way – this will be a tougher task, and
we’ll see how he fares vs. some tough older foes. (6) VENIER HANOVER was completely trapped behind THIS IS
THE PLAN last week or he may have been able to go by, despite the :27.1 final quarter – tough spot, but worth at
least a look at that 20-1 ML price. (5) SAMHARA N has been good for a while but had trouble rallying into the
sharp final half last week, and may face that same dilemma tonight. (7) TWIN B HEART THROB is sharp for a hot
barn but he couldn’t make a dent from a similar spot last week. (3) HEZ ALLTHE RAGE N is a bit quirky, and may
need the lead vs, cheaper to be effective.
RACE 6 – (5) PINK RUBY isn’t always the handiest mare on the planet but she tries hard and has compiled a solid
16-4-3-3 record here this year - she did beat #1 three starts back (at 14-1) and while she’ll be shorter than that
tonight, she should still offer some good value in the top slot. (1) TYRA MAKES BANK is 5-2-3-0 since arriving at
YR and an obvious threat to take these wire to wire – pretty hard to leave her off your tickets. (6) CHARMING VIX
EN is prone to miscues and tough trips, but she’s found a way to win 3 of her 11 starts this year – good one for
exotics, and should be a pretty nice price if looking to try her on top. (4) DEVILISH DREAMS is winless on the
year and comes off a dull try – she does drop in class, however, and her best effort would at least put her in play for
a piece. (8) EVAS SPORTS CZECH fell apart for a few starts but her last was a step in the direction – hard to see
her reaching from out here, however, even if she’s on her game. (2) JEANSJELLYBEANS tired to a well beaten 5th
off a pocket trip last week but was still the “best” of the 3 the barn shipped in that night – needs to be better. (3) AIN
TNOHOLLABACKGRL had been stuck on minor pieces all year. (7) TARGARYEN EMPRESS got good here a
while back but returns from our of town well off that form...even with a win (over cheaper) last week.
RACE 7 – (2) PINK QUARTZ was hard to gauge arriving from Ohio – she was well back early but paced a solid
final half to be a respectable 4th, and that was racing off almost a month – eligible to be sharper tonight, and could be
a good value play. (4) ROLL WITH SHORTY is a very logical threat in here, coming off a couple of solid efforts
(for 2nd and 3rd) – she does figure to be overbet, though. (7) BEAUTY OF THE SEA was an even 4
th vs. better shipping in from PA – she does have speed, and a pilot not afraid to send one...worth a look, at a price. (6) SUNSET
SOPH had a terrible trip last week and may just deserve a complete pass...not sure if she can find a good journey
from this spot, but she can be a late threat if she does. (1) BROOKDALE JESSIE’s lone win (in an eternity) came in
an amateur event – that being said, the move inside should at least put her in play for a piece. (3) ACEFOURTYFO
UR ALEX hasn’t been terrible lately, but she’s still been no better than 3rd in 17 starts this year – minor share only.
(8) BETTOR B SAWYER is actually a good fit with this crew but the draw may leave her waiting for a better spot.
(5) JILLIAN JIGGS has a pair of fifths after being the one to launch her owner’s career as a trainer.
RACE 8 – (4) LLOYDS LOVES beat a good field when entered for that $30K optional tag and looked like an
outstanding claim – she’s been stuck with a pair of 8 holes (in 50s) since then, but she actually raced very well last
week (despite the draw) – much more manageable spot tonight, and worth hopping on board. (3) SALE EL SOL
picked up her first win a while 2 back and really wasn’t bad last week (caught out into hot 3rd panel, then holding
evenly for 4th) – could be a player with these. (5) QUARREL has been racing well at The Ridge, and had a couple of
decent starts here last year – probably a good fit with the 50s in her Hilltop return, with a chance to make some noise
(1) PARADISE ROCK L threw a dud last week but does drop right back in the box – she has a bunch of starts this
year that would put her right in the hunt from this spot. (7) BIG BIG PLANS disappointed last week but the addition
of Lasix for tonight may explain that – she did just win at this level 2 back, but will have a tough time overcoming
the draw, even if sharp. (2) HEAVENS SHOWGIRL A disappointed 3 back, was horrible the next week and only a
“trip 3rd” in her last – leaning towards others, especially since she’ll probably take some $$. (6) SPORTS FLIX
likely needs to be in easier. (8) BADDITUDE doesn’t figure to be able to get near the action from out here.
RACE 9 – (6) RACING RAMPAGE is now 2 for 2 since arriving locally and the talented Ohio bred faces nothing
too scary tonight – seems more than sharp enough to handle another class jump. (4) BENHOPE RULZ N is a little
light in the wins and 2nds this year but he’s been facing tougher in may of his starts – logical player for a good piece
of this. (1) THE REAL ONE certainly isn’t embarrassing himself in his 14YO season but he’s definitely not having
the year he hoped for– should be able to get away close enough for a chance to rally for a piece. (3) SLING SHOCK
is a steady player that’s hit board in half of his local starts (past 2 years) – any decent trip gives him a chance to land
somewhere on the ticket. (2) ROCKIN N TALKIN is a tough call – he ships down from Canada showing some ok
miles, but he’s also winless in his 6 starts this year (while facing a bit easier) – he’s also missed 3 weeks, and it’s
hard to say just how tight he’ll be tonight for his new barn. (5) ALEX TYE can be wildly unpredictable from week
to week but the double class jump does figure to leave him looking at only minor spoils. (8) TASTE OF HONEY
wasn’t terrible from an impossible spot last week but seems to have landed in another one for tonight. (7) GREAT
SOMEWHERE likes to be on/near the lead vs. easier – unlikely from this spot.
RACE 10 – (1) TERACITA had been struggling for some time – she was a little better 2 back but definitely on her
“A game” last week, going by easily and winning with authority – very tough here with a similar effort. (4) PLEAS
URE SEEKER won here on 5/21 (for the 4th time this year) then was 2nd or 3rd in her next 6 starts – she was claimed
from her last by a barn that excels with their acquisitions, and she could prove the main danger. (5) PROVE EM WR
ONG is a little tough to read off her Hoosier lines but she lands with our toughest trainer/driver team and would be
no surprise at all. (6) SHEIKH YABOOTY N reversed form to win on 5/28 and has held her good form since –
tonight’s draw is a concern, however. (2) PRINCESS ARONA seems off her game but we’ll see if the post relief
(and a better trip) can help perk her up a bit. (7) HARPER SEELSTER left at 51-1 last week, stayed close right to
the stretch then weakened a bit to 4th – price should still be good, and he’s playable for 3rd/4th. (3) LYONS MIKI
gapped most of the way last week before finding some better life late for 4th – maybe she can pick up another small
slice tonight. (8) REAL LADY SADIE drops down to the level she loves...but Post 8 is a major obstacle.
RACE 11 – Good race: (4) CALLMEQUEENBEE A has been sharp in most of her recent starts and was just
re-claimed by a barn that recently picked up a 2nd with her – her last start is better than it looks, and she may have a
chance at the upset with the right trip. (2) ON THE MONEY GB throws a dud from time to time but is otherwise
rock solid in this class– she’s won 3 of her last 6 starts, and a very dangerous player tonight (3) DREAM DANCING
dropped to the basement last week but could only manage 3rd (the winner was triple dropping, and the 2nd
horse came back to win her next) – another live player. (1) ALWAYS BE CITY has become a solid weekly player since
going without Lasix, but she hasn’t been able to find the winner’s circle – remains a good one to include underneath.
(8) COALFORDSNSHINE GB is undeniably sharp (3 wins from her last 5 with a nose loss 2nd) but will require a
good dose of trip luck to reach from out here – playable if the price is right. (5) NUTTINBUTHEBEST was terrific
for a good stretch this year but has been tailing for some time – we’ll see if her new barn has any luck in getting her
back on track. (6) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL was good for a while but isn’t as sharp right now – tough draw tonight
after faltering on the lead last week. (7) HP XANADU makes her first start after 8 months on the shelf – inclined to
pass, but will at least check the tote board first.
RACE 12 – (4) LARJON LEAH has taken 3 of her last 4 starts, the lone loss vs. the 25s – certainly deserves top
billing tonight, though there won’t be much in the way of value. (7) WESTERN ROSIE wasn’t bad in her first start
off the barn change and even better in her 2nd – chance to land somewhere on the ticket if Buter can find her another
good trip. (2) FREESTARFLIGHT finally picked up her first win of the season last week (at Harrington) in her 12th
try – she moves to a top local barn for her Hilltop debut, and the guess is that she’ll fit well here – possibility. (1)
PHELGON has raced ok here at times and has been doing some good things (with cheaper) in NJ recently – ok for
exotics. (5) SHOTGUN PERSUASION was terrific in her first couple off the barn change but has started to go
either way – hard to know if that’ll continue tonight, or if she can reverse course and find her form again. (3)
CANNERY ROW gets a good draw but is 0 for 12 this year and 0 for 12 locally over the past 2 years. (6) TOBAGO
TIME trailed all the way in her Yonkers return last week – inclined to pass again, but will at least check the board
first. (8) TUAPEKA JESSIE N would need a major wake up call to reach from out here.
