RACE 1 – (3) HEZ ALLTHE RAGE N has been coming up a little light at the end of his miles but vs. better – gets
some more class relief, a switch to Kakaley, and perhaps a winning spot. (1) JAHAN HANOVER just missed 2 back
then finally picked up a long overdue victory last week, using a perfect trip to charge on by to victory – steps up a
notch, but another good trip could make him a big threat here too. (4) PRINTVILLE is a 3YO taking on older horses
but he’s been sharp out of town, and did finish 2nd in his only local try this year – may have a say in this. (5) YORO
KOBI N best recent effort was a win vs. a bit easier 4 starts back – may find a couple of these a little too tough, but
still a legitimate candidate for a small piece (6) GINGRAS BEACH was used very hard last week when an excellent
2nd behind #1 – tonight’s class bump isn’t as concerning as the bad draw, however. (7) QUALITY BUD has more
good efforts than bad lately but will need plenty of trip luck to find a way into the hunt from out here (8) JET ROCK
gets a class drop but that may very well be offset by Post 8 – tough assignment. (2) DONT JUDGE A BOOK used a
live trip to pull off a big upset here on 8/31 but vs. much easier- could be in too tough with these.
RACE 2 – (3) SONNY WEAVER N is a little light in the win column this year (compared to recent seasons) but
he’s still used to holding his own vs. much better than these – definitely deserves top billing with the drop to this
NW7500 class. (1) GREG THE LEG is also dropping, and his last win did come at this level...he hasn’t been all
that reliable in 2024, however, and that’s why where leaning more to #3. (6) ALL ALONE found himself in an easy
spot last week and trounced his rivals, giving Bartlett his 6th straight winner that night – faces tougher now (while
also drawing poorly), and that may result in a smaller piece of the pie. (2) GREAT SOMEWHERE chased #6 from
the pocket last week but was all out to cling to 2nd, while no match for the winner – he’ll need to be sharper tonight if
he hopes to take home another big chunk. (7) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N is used to facing better and clearly is an
excellent fit with this bunch – he’s also extremely camera shy, and will have to overcome Post 7 tonight...he can
definitely outperform that 15-1 ML price, but he also could be looking at only a small share of this. (4) SPRING BL
AKE really disappointed 2 back off the barn change but rebounded with a pocket win (over cheaper) last week –
we’ll see if built some confidence with that last victory. (5) MY ULTIMATE STAR A rallies late for pieces
sometimes but hasn’t been a serious threat in a long while.
RACE 3 – Tough race! (2) TWIN B ALLURE has an assortment of recent excuses but also has 6 wins from her 26
local starts – maybe she can be a late threat if several of these mix things up enough up front? (1) LAZIN ON THE
BEACH is always right in the hunt, even if not a lot of recent wins– another that could benefit if a few of the players
in here elect to really duke it out. (4) CHASE YOU came back very sharp off the layoff, rallying crisply last week to
be a close 3rd – one of many that could come out on top here, depending on how the race plays out. (6) TOBAGO
TIME used a perfect trip to score from the pocket last week, and now has 4 wins from her last 7 starts – clearly a
major threat with any similarly good journey. (8) REAL LADY SADIE is currently 25-9-6-1 here this year, but
could be looking at an arduous journey from out here – insist on a good price if you think she can overcome the
draw and be a threat. (5) NIKASA N drops from 50s and that immediately makes her worthy of respect – hard to
predict her trip, but she’s another that can be right in the mix if it’s a good one. (3) UNCONTROLLED has some ok
recent starts but does seem a bit below several of the prime players. (7) CHARMING VIXEN was pretty good
recently but MAY be tailing a bit...and starts tonight from Post 7.
RACE 4 – (3) SWEETHOMEALABAMA N was finally handled aggressively and turned his 3rd U.S. start into an
easy victory (he won by more than the charted line shows) – we’ll stay on board as he gets his first inside draw here.
(2) LEGAL ATTACK has a trio of 2nds from his 4 local starts, with a solid try (in a hot mile) in the other – feels like
the main danger. (5) ICACO HANOVER has now hit board in 6 straight in this class, handling any trips that come
his way – hard to leave him out of the exotics. (1) AMERITRIC feels like he may be a bit below the top ones in
here, but an easy trip from this spot could at least help him bring home a decent chunk. (8) AYR BALMORAL GB
has raced well almost every start for months in this class...but it won’t be easy for Brennan to find him a trip he can
manage from out here – at least the price will be good. (4) SPECIAL DRAGON picked up a (distant) 2
nd two back, mostly thanks to the trip – seems a notch below a few of the others. (6) KID FROM THE BRONX generally needs
to be near the front end to deliver his best – that may not be possible from this spot. (7) WARRIOR FOR PEACE
has been stuck in the back in his last several starts and faces the same dilemma tonight.
RACE 5 – (2) BB LUCKY BOY was 4 for 4 here in 2022 and showed a ton of potential – his career never really
took off after that, but his current NJ form shows that he can still throw some big miles (like that last 1:52.4 blowout
at Freehold) – he’s definitely risky, but will be tough to knock off with anything resembling that mile. (7) KOPI LU
WAK was a good earner at 2 and 3 but had a bit disappointing year at 4 – he makes his local debut tonight for one of
our sharpest barns, and definitely deserves a look at that 10-1 ML price. (5) CASINO ACTION N raced better in his
last few starts than the lines might suggest – a good trip here could put him right into the mix. (3) EUPHORIA N
was a little disappointing last week, weakening a bit after cutting the mile (while adding Lasix) – definitely too soon
to write him off after that one try, and his best effort would make him a live player tonight (1) ROCK THE BELLES
has been disappointing overall lately, but this is possible wake up spot – he’s another that becomes a threat IF he
finds his “A Game”. (6) ALADDIN was very well backed in his 2nd local start but couldn’t sustain his first over bid
well enough – tonight’s bad draw won’t help his cause. (4) ON TIME DELIVERY is a 3YO facing older and his out
of town lines aren’t all that exciting. (8) RAYRAY has his good moments, but this is just a brutal spot.
RACE 6 – (7) ONEDERFULBEACH clearly had some issue when she backed up badly off a pocket trip last week
but she’s back in the box quickly, and just recently came up 2nd best in back to back starts – she may shrug off that
last disastrous start and bounce right back with a big effort...at a nice price. (3) LADY WISHES shipped in sharp
from NJ and was a solid 2nd best in her first local try – her chances were compromised last week when forced to go
behind an over-aggressive GAME OF SHADOWS off turn one, but she can be a big threat tonight with a better trip.
(5) SUNBURNT is 7-0-0-0 at Yonkers this year, but did race decently in several of those starts, against arguably
better – could be a player against these, but hard to “love” at that 5/2 ML price. (8) MIKI THE CLOWN should
appreciate the class drop, but does figure to be compromised by the horrible draw – can probably still rally for a
piece of this. (1) BLANK CHEEK is hard to like on top (0 for 18 at Yonkers) but the move inside may at least give
her a shot for some minor spoils. (6) PLEASURE SEEKER was a game, grinding winner last week but could be
looking at a tough trip starting from Post 6. (2) GAME OF SHADOWS was no factor in her first 2 off the layoff –
she was handled very aggressively in her last but weakened in the lane...leaning elsewhere. (4) SUNSET SOPH has
been struggling and last week’s barn change made no difference.
RACE 7 – (2) MISSED THE TRUTH A raced very well in his local debut, used very hard for most of the mile and
only getting nipped late by a fast charging, classy winner – he should offer some decent value here (despite that big
effort), and is worth a good look. (4) HEZA CHARTTOPPER A is the latest fresh import from a barn that has
started to have real success with these types – his qualifier suggests that he’ll be ready to roll in his U.S. debut, and
would be no surprise at all. (7) CADILLAC BAYAMA was a little disappointing in his last (3rd off the pocket trip)
but he may have disliked the off going – he’s held his own at higher levels all year, and could be a player here, even
with the bad draw. (6) ITALIAN LAD N continues to race well week after week, often from terrible spots – gets
another bad draw for tonight (while moving up in class), but still a decent one for 3rd/4th. (8) TAIPO A was chasing
some top stock in Australia this summer but still seems to be trying to find his best here in the U.S. – it PROBABLY
won’t be from Post 8 tonight, but he does bear watching for the future. (5) STAY GROUNDED has ability but he’s
now 8-0-0-0 here at Yonkers– still waiting to see a good one from him locally before hopping back on board. (3)
DELESTON has some good local efforts but has been away more than 3 weeks after a sick scratch. (1) TRU BLU
HYPNOTIC has been doing good work in PA vs. 25s but has been idle for almost a month and exits a high % barn.
RACE 8 – (4) HEMSWORTH N couldn’t hang on one level down last week but the horse who beat him is a pretty
talented 3YO – deserves a chance to make amends. (1) THE IDEAL DANCER A is on a nice roll (for a hot barn)
and holding form nicely as he climbs the class ladder – he’s in line for a good trip here, with a chance for a good
piece. (6) TASTE OF HONEY was sharper in his last pair than the lines might look, his barn is going well and he’s
going to be a good price – could add some value to the exotics tonight. (5) VICI rarely throws a bad one, can handle
any trip, and has a good chance at a nice chunk with any decent journey. (3) SEMI TOUGH has a ton of back class
but his best recent efforts have come vs. easier, and he doesn’t always get along so great with new pilots – respect
his chances, but leaning towards others. (2) ILKEMEBETTOR A moves inside but may need to drop a bit before we
see his best effort. (7) SAMHARA N fits a bit easier and also drops another win off his card after tonight – look for
him in easier spots in his next couple of starts. (8) TWIN B POWERBALL picked up his first local victory last week
but now moves up AND draws Post 8.
RACE 9 – (1) JULES HILL finished ok from an impossible spot in her Yonkers debut but moves all the way inside,
and gets a pilot never afraid to race one hard – we’ll see what she’s made of from this spot. (6) TWIST LITTLE
GIRL N has a pair of 3rds since dropping back down to the $50K level – she’ll need some trip luck from this spot,
but is capable of being a real player if she finds some. (2) IDEALINFUN had Post 8 on an off track last week and
we’ll give her a pass – good draw here, and probably a good trip coming – look for a much better effort tonight. (5)
MC ANGEL is a tough call – it felt like she MAY be starting to come back to the top form she showed earlier this
year, but hit a snag after landing on a horrible trip last week – we’ll see which direction she goes tonight. (7) FREE
STAR FLIGHT landed on a perfect pocket trip last week and knew what to do with it, picking up her first win in a
while – much tougher spot tonight, so insist on a good price if looking for her to repeat. (4) SILKY STRIDE was a
winner 3 back but no threat in her last pair – not really sure which version we’ll get here. (3) LOOKOVERY UR
feels a bit overmatched, even with the inside draw. (8) CRÈME DELIGHT has been ok overall since returning from
PA but may need a much better draw to be a serious contender.
RACE 10 – (4) IRON MISTRESS was a good 2nd and 3rd three and 4 starts back then followed that up with wins in
her last pair – we’ll stick with the hot hand and give her the narrow nod in the finale. (3) BEANTOWN BABE was a
little disappointing when reporting home a no threat 4th in back to back starts at the $25K level – she drops back
down to 20s here, and crushed this class 3 back – the main danger. (1) JILLIAN JIGGS has a few sneaky ok efforts
recently, moves all the way inside and may race well enough to grab a piece...at a good price. (5) EBONY LADY
raced well in her last couple, gets Siegleman in the bike and is just a good rip away from a decent chunk of this. (7)
ELISES DELIGHT was an “ugly” winner at a ridiculous 1/10 payoff on 11/26 then scratched sick from her next –
lands a bad post off a bad date, and that leaves us leaning more towards others. (2) IDEAL SKIES arrives for top
shelf connections but is also a 3YO filly taking on older rivals after missing 4 weeks – would need a good price to
even consider her for a top slot. (6) MIKILOB ULTRA has her share of ok local tries but may struggle here starting
from Post 6. (8) DECISION TIME has done ok since arriving on the local scene but tonight’s draw is a killer.
