RACE 1 - Solid opener! (2) BIRTHDAY landed on a nice trip last week and kicked home full of pace for
2nd behind the sharp ship-in winner - he actually beat one level higher here recently, and a good trip would
make him a very live player tonight. (3) HEAVEN ON HIGH N gets a class drop and also significant post
relief - has to be worth at least a look at that 15-1 ML price. (8) COACHES CORNER is 6 for 6 for his
current barn since arriving from the midwest, proving to be a very difficult horse to catch once he makes
the front end - he remains eligible to this class once again, but also will have to deal with Post 8 tonight...
be careful about taking too short a price as he puts his long streak on the line. (5) KINGSVILLE is an 8X
winner this year, including that victory 2 back - can never be counted out in a spot like this. (4) BOILING
OAR has been racing well and debuts tonight for a barn that seems able to improve fresh stock, regardless
of where they come from - can't be counted out. (1) JUDDY DOUGLAS A was pacing out of his skin in
that victory 2 back but couldn't get there from the pocket last week - steps up a bit, and we'll see if he can
take advantage of the draw. (6) PHOENIX OF FLUZZY is very sharp right now, but the combination of the
class jump and poor post may slow him down a bit. (7) LUCKBEWITHALEX tends to be in-and-out but
even one of his better efforts may fall short starting from way out here.
RACE 2 - (2) CARBON CIDER was WAY back at the half last week but actually raced very well to be
fairly close at the wire - moves way inside, and perhaps this a chance for her struggling pilot (1 for 50 here
this year) to get a little momentum going. (3) FEELIN RED HOT was on fumes in the stretch the last 2
weeks, finding the wire in time 2 back but unable to prevail in her last - she's sure to be way overbet once
more, and probably worth taking a stab against once more. (1) LADYBELUCKYTONITE would be hard
to like "on paper" but her similarly formless barnmate (SEZANA N) was able sit the pocket and collar #3
last week....maybe she can too? (5) SHELLIE DE VIE was fairly close at a big price last week - gets a
switch to Kakaley tonight, and might be worth considering if the price is nearly as high. (4) BROOKDALE
JESSIE is 0 for 34 at Yonker and 0 for 66 overall, over the past 2 years - minor shares only. (7) ODDS ON
UNICORN wasn't close in her first 2 local starts but was a little better last week - bomb for 3rs/4th? (6)
EVAS SPORTS CZECH looks overmatched, even in this very soft field.
RACE 3 - (4) PURAMERI has been the most solid of these at this level, has hit board in her last 3 and does
deserve top billing...that being said, that 7/5 ML price almost guarantees that she'll be way overbet for a
barn that really doesn't win often enough to merit such a short price! (3) ROCKNROLL ANNIE was an ok
3rd last time and we've seen a few of her barnmates succeed the past week or so - may be ready for one of
her speed tries with Bartlett on board. (6) GOLDEN QUEST N doesn't have the best looking current form
but she's been 1st or 2nd 17X this year and this is a field where she MAY see a wake up call - consider? (1)
MIKI ROSE hasn't been the same horse since being claimed away from our leading trainer this summer -
the move inside may help her come up with a much better effort tonight, however - exotics possibility .(2)
MAGICAL MISTRESS was dull in her last but had a few "ok" tries up at this $50K level recently - small
slice? (5) WOODMERE HARRIET is 10-1-0-0 here over the last 2 years and just feels a bit cheaper. (8)
ITTY BITTY showed little in 2 starts since arriving at YR. (7) CORAL BELLA hasn't been good at all so it
was no surprise to see her back through the field when sent on a speed mission last week.
RACE 4 - (2) TERACITA has found a home in this $20K claimer, picking up 2 easy wins since dropping
down- remains the one to knock off for our leading trainer/driver tandem. (3) AINTNOHOLLABACKGRL
was even better last week than her line suggests as she actually was sweeping WIDE from last on the back
side, sustaining that long move right to the wire - she's been sharp ever since the recent barn change, and
may prove the main danger. (1) BLUEBIRD GRAF gave it a good speed try in her first local start, coming
up 2nd best to the top choice - chance for another good chunk tonight. (6) CASIES BELIEVER rallied
nicely from a tough spot last week to be a solid 4th - not a bad value horse to include on the bottom of
exotics. (5) HARMONY OF NOTES turned in a better effort last time - if she can build off that, she's
another with a chance for a piece here. (4) BETTORBYTHESEASIDE shows a couple of out of town wins
but likely vs. cheaper competition - she exits a successful barn, and will have to prove that she can hang
with these for her new connections. (7) PRAY THE ROSARY hasn't been a threat in some time.
RACE 5 - Good race: (4) LOVE THAT SMILE was actually sharp even before the win at Chester 2 back,
and last week's 2nd to LUCKY ARTIST A (who came back to also win her next start) - she'll be a good
price in a very competitive race, and is definitely worth a good look. (7) SALE EL SOL has won her last
pair in this class, including last week's 7 hole score - she has 4 wins, a 2nd and a 3rd from her last 8 starts,
and deserves huge respect even with another bad draw. (6) LINE EM UP wasn't on her best game last week
but was a sharp 3rd the week before - her price will go way up tonight, and she's another that could offer
some good value. (8) BETTERB CHEVRON N was sent off as the odds on choice dropping in for $50K
last start and easily delivered on the front end - three weeks off and Post 8 COULD make her a bit
vulnerable tonight, though. (1) QUARREL worked out a perfect trip behind #7 last time and was able to
rally for 2nd - draws the pole and has to be respected, but still leaning a bit more to others for the top slot.
(5) SHOTGUN PERSUASION landed on a very good trip moving up to 50s off the $20K claim but was
just an "ok" 4th - needs to find a bit more to beat these tougher ones. (2) TRAFALGAR was red hot for
several weeks but has hit a rough patch - may just turn things back around tonight, but probably not worth a
short price to find out (3) SEZANA N feel over the wire in a weak $20K field last week - pass against these.
RACE 6 - (4) PLEASURE SEEKER threw a dull one 2 back but has otherwise hit board in all of her other
recent starts - gets a new pilot for tonight and we'll see if a fresh set of hands can help her prevail in this
seemingly well matched field. (6) TUAPKEA JESSIE N started off the year 0 for 21 but was claimed by
our leading trainer and instantly jogged in her next start - made an unexpected miscue in her next (facing
the 50s) and now drops back down to the level of the claim - very tough if she shrugs off that break and
comes back with her best effort. (3) SWEET SANDY LOU beat these 3 back then finished behind a sharp
TERACITA in her last pair - legitimate player. (5) BRONZE OVER N raced well out of town the last
couple of years and was a decent sort here at Yonkers prior to that - goes for a new barn tonight, and she
may be worth a look at that 12-1 ML price. (1) ICARUS FALLS N was racing well here for a lower profile
barn so it was surprising to see last week's dull effort (after being claimed by a very high % outfit) - goes
for another new barn tonight, and we'll see which direction she heads in. (7) FLIP THE SCRIPT is clearly
doing good things lately but the move outside and loss of Bartlett really figure to hurt tonight. (2) SPORTS
FLIX never really thrived after moving to her first "JB" barn and has struggled for another "JB" barn in her
last 2 starts as well - just hasn't clicked in a long time.
RACE 7 - (1) OAKWOOD PADDY IR was used a couple of times last week and just no match in the lane
for the late rush of the fresh favorite - he'll get to call the shots tonight, and looms the one to knock off. (5)
COALFORD BET ALINE started his U.S. career here last winter and went a few good miles - seems to be
sharpening lately at Stga., and may be ready to do some damage in his YR return - possibility. (4) FADE
TO LIGHT shipped in from Canada and crushed 'em at Monti for his new barn - hard to say how he'll fit
with the locals, but Bartlett will give him every chance to succeed. (3) UNDER YOUR SCARS came up
flat last time but is usually a pretty reliable player against these types - playable in exotics. (2) VICTOR
CRUISE was lacking late in both local starts - draws well with Gingras, but will need to show some more
stamina to be a serious player here. (6) CLEVELAND B MIKI has been steady for weeks, and can race on
or off the pace...never a bad one to include underneath. (7) PINE BUSH ITALIANO started the year
10-0-0-0 here at Yonkers but picked up a decent 3rd last week, and definitely seems to be better lately - the
draw is an obvious roadblock for tonight, though.
RACE 8 - (3) ADAM TWELVE lost his first local start by a head and is 3 for 3 since then - jogged in this
class last week and still fits the condition....and remains the one to beat. (1) BUDDY HILL landed in
impossible spots the last 2 weeks but the move inside figures to make him an up close player from start to
finish tonight. (2) ORLANDO BLUE A shipped in and won here on 11/8 - made a break when asked for
too much early on his next but bounced right back last week to win again - steps up in class, but seems
sharp enough to still have a say with the inside draw. (8) WILLIE GO WEST N was actually sent off
favored in NW30000 in his only local start but caved after cutting the mile - he really just wasn't right in
general at that time, but does seem to be shipping back down from Saratoga in a good way....may be able to
leave enough to be a real player tonight (with his talented young pilot). (7) YOROKOBI N lands a terrible
post for tonight but he was flying late last week and will be a big price - willing to include underneath. (4)
GAMBLINGTERROR has a few good recent efforts but may be pushing his limits up at this level. (5)
LUC IANO N is another that may need to be in a bit cheaper to have a real say. (6) REAL WILLEY hasn't
been bad by any means, but he probably needs a better post for a chance to battle for a piece with these.
RACE 9 - Tough race! (1) DREAM DANCING failed to perk up dropping down from the 50s last week
but also conceded early from Post 7 - maybe this is a spot where she can be handled more aggressively and
handle this pretty soft bunch...but her 0 for 15 local slate makes hard to get excited about at a short price.
(5) BETTORSHIGHLIGHT N has 2 recent wins and Gingras in the bike....has to be taken seriously just on
those 2 angles. (4) ROLL WITH SHORTY was 1 for 62 to start her career - she changed hands on 9/26 but
broke on the lead in her first start at Monticello....the rattled of 6 straight wins (vs. cheaper) - barn won here
on Monday night, and this mare has to be taken seriously at this point. (3) PLZDONTLIETOME N hasn't
really clicked since returning to her favorite barn but did show her best effort in a while last week - we'll
see if it's a sign of better things to come. (2) WILDCAT ANTONIA is prone to bad trips and certainly got
one last week - if things get testy up front and she's close turning for home she'll have her chance for Jimmy
Taggart (driving down from Monti to handle this one for brother Shane). (6) NORMANS MADELINE is
eligible to reverse form at any time, as we've seen many times in the past - not the worst bomb you could
ever bet on. (7) BELLATRICKS lands outside after a weak qualifier - pass for now.
RACE 10 - Another tough one: (7) ENERGETIC HANOVER was used hard in his local debut but still
proved a very easy winner - the class jump shouldn't hurt him too much, but the draw could cause some
problems - playable on top as long as the price is fair. (4) JACKS LEGEND N has struggled to get into any
decent groove all year, throwing big ones at times, but then also dropping some weak ones - he actually
raced big in defeat to #7 last time, and a similar effort (with an easier trip), would make him a threat. (1)
ALLUNEEDISFAITH N has been away since being scratched lame on 10/17 - this field is well within his
comfort zone, but it's anybody's guess as to how close to 100% he'll be for his return. (3) TYPHOON BAN
NER N beat these at 1/5 two back, then rallied to be 2nd best to a razor sharp SONNY WEAVER N in his
next - might have been listed on top here had he not been away for a month! (5) VULCAN STAR N ships
in very sharp from Btva. for a barn that has sent out live ones in the past - hard to really gauge where he fits
class-wise, but we'll learn more tonight. (2) BRAEVIEW BONDI A wasn't "great" when 3rd two back, but
that last 2nd was definitely sharp - hard to say if tonight's class jump may slow him down a bit. (6) BENHO
PE RULZ N has been overachieving at big prices in a lot of recent starts, but this really is a difficult spot.
(8) WICHITA LINEMAN is actually very good right now, & only listed this far down because of the draw.
RACE 11- (5) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N had been good for a while before that dud 2 back but he
rebounded with a much better effort last week - this is a field he can handle, but that 9/5 ML price does
lower our enthusiasm somewhat. (1) BLANK STARE is taking a significant drop from recent efforts and
draws the pole for a very potent trainer/driver team....has to be seen as a serious threat tonight. (4) ALAD
DIN was an "ok" 3rd in his 2nd local start and now adds Lasix for tonight - he might bring an even better
effort. (6) CAVIART SARGENT is unreliable at short prices but actually does some damage at big prices,
from tough spots - decent bomb for 3rd/4th. (7) THE REGULATOR drops to a level where he should be
able to pick up a victory soon....but maybe not from a spot like this. (8) C BET HANOVER was huge
crushing cheaper 2 back (new lifetime mark) but disappointed in NJ the next week - he may not be able to
get into play from all the way out here. (2) BLUEBIRD RECON is on the cheaper side but the good draw
gives him a chance to at least tow along for some minor spoils. (3) BETTORBUCKLEUP wired lesser 2
back, but seems a bit below several of the main players at the moment.
